Type 2 diabetes also known as non-insulin-dependent diabetes or purely adulthood onset of diabetes, is described by the fact that the pancreas still produces insulin even in some cases more than it naturally does. Type 2 diabetes – Risk factors
Children and adolescents can be affected by type 2 diabetes as well, but it is more common in people over the age of 30 and it affects people in older age groups.
